Because it works for me. This year I decided on a new timetable. I have some hobbies which I want to monetize. I enjoy my full time job but if I optimize my time better I can start something on the side.
One important criteria was not to feel overworked. That would lead to stress and burn out. Bill Gates once said you do not burn out if you engage in a variety of interesting activities. I did some research on morning routine of successful people. They all utilize early morning hours for growth or creative tasks. Afternoon and evenings are for maintenance tasks. So I decided to do the same.
The first two weeks are difficult. Your body needs to adapt to the new pattern. After that it becomes a routine and is easier. Early morning is good for learning new things. Very peaceful and the mind the fresh.
Overall this timetable works better than working late at night. All you need to do is take evening slot and switch it to morning. So 6 PM – 9 PM becomes 6 AM to 9 AM. Sleep early so you don’t wake up tired next day. Its going well for me so far. I plan to carry on this way.
